Ahh, Milan—what would the fashion world do without you? When I say people-watching here is epic, I don’t mean it in a casual, nonchalant way. I mean it’s EPIC—a sensation that takes over your entire body. Sometimes, there’s even a delayed reaction because your eyes can’t quite believe what they just saw.

Milan Fashion Week: Where to Start?

Well, for us, it's pretty easy. Let me present you with one word, 11 letters—accessories(!!!) We cannot stress this enough: the Milanese are all about chic, bold, statement accessories. They aren’t afraid to have fun with their outfits. Each look is so unique it almost feels like they don’t shop at any chain stores.

If you were here about a month ago, you know we highlighted the return of headpieces. Italian women seem to have mastered the art of head styling. From scarves to pillbox hats, they have it all—and they wear them with effortless confidence. Here are some of our favorite looks Linoya captured this week on the streets of Milan.

I know what you’re thinking—fuzzy, short mittens, right? Wrong. Think again. Or better yet, don’t think—just look at this stunning photo of how elegantly Veronica Franzoni styled her gloves.

Belts, But Make It Milan

Last but not least... belts! To some, this may sound basic—but not when it comes to how the Italians are styling them. In Milan, belts can be anywhere but the waist. It’s an open invitation—the more, the merrier. There are no rules. Milan is about breaking boundaries, and somehow, they always make it work.

We can only try to be as cool as Silvia Dusci.
