Your college style advice from a senior - sincerly, Jules

With August quickly approaching and summer coming to an end, going back to school season is on the horizon. Whether you're a freshman in college or a senior, going back to campus is an exciting time of year, but also can be stressful! This fall I am going into my senior year, and there are so many bits and pieces of advice I would have loved to give my freshman year self, whether it be what to wear, or how to adjust to the college lifestyle! This article will guide you on what to wear to your classes, and how to navigate life as a college student!

Starting off with one of the biggest pieces of advice I wish I could have given myself, wear what YOU want to wear, not what you think everyone else wants you to wear. My freshman year I moved to a large school in a different region of the country where the culture and fashion is very different from what I was used to. Going there I decided to change my style to fit in with everyone else, this is something that I of course do not regret doing because it led me to find my unique style, but is something that I think a lot of people do when going to college. College can be daunting, its new beginnings filled with so many new elements. When in this environment, we often seek the comfort of blending with everyone else, but I am here to tell you just be you! College is your time to become whoever you want to be and wear whatever you want! Three years later it's safe to say that I have found my style, which is not just a replica of what every girl is wearing but rather what I want to wear!

Wear what you're comfortable in!

No matter how big your campus is and how far you might have to walk to class, you want to be comfortable! The last thing you want to be thinking about when trying to focus on a bizarre math concept in your one hundred person lecture hall is the way your shorts are fitting after walking a mile to get there. Being comfortable doesn't mean your outfit can’t still be cute, here are some easy outfit ideas that will allow you to be comfortable yet stylish.
